A "Playable Doodle" made with Bitsy!

Use the arrow keys to walk around and look at the art! Walk up to exhibits and press the arrow key once more to hear the friends debate. Try looking at the same objects again to hear the conversation evolve. Will they change each other's minds?  Learn more about human nature? Or will they just bicker this whole time?

My brother and I went to the same college. When life got hard, we'd walk together in the university's numerous art displays. I  have many precious memories of our art theory discussions, heart-to-heart chats, and of course, our hours of clandestine snarking and sniping.

I like this!  I'm not usually a fan of Bitsy games, but I think that's because a lot of the ones I've seen stray from the ideal use case of Bitsy (i.e. games about "walking around and talking to people and being somewhere") and instead try to tell an extremely linear narrative, which IMO is not the best use of an interactive medium or of Bitsy specifically.  But I think this particular game is a nice example of a "little world" that works well.  I also really like the choice of colours.

P.S. As someone who does a bit of contact juggling, I cannot refrain from commenting on the "junky juggling ball that I bought off the TV" comment.  Contact juggling can be a neat hobby, but that whole "Fushigi"-brand marketing campaign was misleading and bad.  Thank you for listening to my ted talk.

Thanks so much for the review! I'm glad you liked it! It was fun to recapture a happy little part of my life. It's funny, when I made this I was just trying to imitate the way we'd shoot the breeze between the "bigger moments" of college life, but now that I'm looking back, these little moments blew parties, club meetings, and even graduation day right out of the water. These little consistent moments of nonsense added up to a whole lot in my heart.

I learned to contact juggle with a Fushigi ball! I got one on the cheap after the hype/hate train was dying down. Heinous ads but pretty decent balls as they go. I can only do three tricks but I still feel like a wizard, lol.
